📄 Cambridge NY Harrington items
My archives contain items generally associated with the Harringtons of Cambridge NY but not to a single person there. These include:
Vacation in Florida, 1914
A newspaper clipping reads:
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Harrington and daughter, Mrs. Winslow, who have been spending the winter in Daytona, being located at 135 South Ridgewood avenue, will leave Friday for their home in Cambridge, N. Y. Mrs. J. Charles Reynolds, of Mechanicsville, N. Y., who is visiting her parents, will return north with them. E. D. Harrington, who spent some time here with the family, had returned to Mechanicsville.
The clipping isn't dated but some handwritten notes by Rachel Perham Clement (1838-1920) say that they were in Daytona from Dec. 11 1914 - April 1915. The address is in Daytona Beach and is now a parking lot for an office building.
Visiting Mechanicville and Lake George
A newpaper clipping reads
Mrs. Daniel Harrington and daughter Mrs. Alice Winslow have been spending a week in Mechanicville and Lake George
This isn't dated but since Daniel Harrington (1834-1917) wasn't with them it's probably after his death, so sometime from 1917-1920.
